UNITS

GIBORIM (Campers in grades 2 & 3 prior to the start of the summer)

With 3 counselors in each cabin, the Giborim staff are specially trained to help campers with their transition into camp life, while ensuring that they remain happy and healthy throughout their entire time at camp.

GOSHRIM (Campers in grades 4 & 5 prior to the start of the summer)

In the Goshrim unit, our main goal is create a positive cabin dynamic for all campers by placing emphasis on relationships building, cabin spirit, and developing a sense of pride in one’s cabin and unit.

KOCHOT (Campers in grades 6 & 7 prior to the start of the summer)

Kochot is often characterized as an energetic and fun-loving unit, where staff members provide a safe and nurturing environment for their campers to try new activities and build new relationships with one another.

LITS – LEADERS IN TRAINING (Campers in grades 8 & 9 prior to the start of the summer)

Our LIT program has been developed to give our campers the opportunity to build their leadership skills through programming, training seminars, various committees (va’adot), and interactions with our younger campers. We continue to build on the success of each LIT unit, and create a sense of independence. Our LIT campers engage in meaningful discussions about current events and how they can be leaders in their communities through our Hadracha (Leadership) Program. Each summer our LIT campers spend up to three days on a trip designed for adventure and to bring the group even closer together. Each season our LITs also create a project to give back something to the camp. Some projects have included building our GaGa Ball Pit, our Playground, and the sign post in the adjacent picture.
